Travelling alone, and the strangers I ended up talking to.

I came to Hamburg on impulse for a concert and ended up travelling alone in a city I expected nothing from. Moving through it by myself forced conversations with strangers, and their stories stayed with me.

These photographs are fragments of that trip, many of them shot through glass, and they keep the distance you can feel even in a crowded place.
